The project was prepared for Kalvarija town centre which is included into urban heritage site. The project includes town‘s central square, Laisvės street and bus station reconstruction works. The aim of the project was to create conditions for public to get more acquainted with the historical and urban heritage of Kalvarija town.

The central square structure is divided into two functional zones- “passive-green” creating a buffer zone from the busy Dariaus ir Girėno street and “active”- a space for mass events, recreation and representation. In the architecture of the square natural materials were used: concrete, rusted metal sheets “Corten” and wood.
